Make a calmer morning by preparing less, but earlier

A morning routine is easier to use when it removes a recurring obstacle. It does not need to begin before dawn or contain a dozen wellness activities.

Identify the actual bottleneck

Look at what repeatedly causes rushing, such as finding keys or choosing clothes. Solve that problem before adding a new ritual.

Prepare one thing the night before

Place essentials together or decide on breakfast. Keep preparation short enough that it does not burden the evening.

Build in a small margin

If possible, leave a little unscheduled time. When that is impossible, simplify the number of decisions instead.

Try this today

Choose one recurring morning problem and test a single preparation step for the next three days.
